| PLOT SUMMARY: |
20th century history as we know it is a lie. Aliens have been among us since the 1940's, but a government cover-up has prevented the public from knowing this. As the series progresses, we follow John Loengard and Kim Sayers as they attempt to thwart numerous plans of the alien Hive, most of which are tied to historical events and figures. In addition, the pair must stay one step ahead of a covert government agency, Majestic-12, tasked with fighting the aliens while maintaining the conspiracy of silence.

Dark Skies Briefing Book
I have presented this on my site to preserve it. The original site is found here but it has not been updated for two years and I fear it may disappear without notice. This is an extract from this site which explains what the Briefing Book is.
Before putting pen to paper and producing any of the scripts, it was necessary to sell the Dark Skies story to a TV network who would be willing to back it and broadcast it. In order to promote the Dark Skies concept to potential backers the writers put together a 'Series Bible' outlining their plans for the Dark Skies story. This contained some of the early ideas about the storyline, and indications of where it might lead. It is not uncommon for writers to sell their stories in this way, but what made the Dark Skies Series Bible different was its format. Zabel and Friedman put together a comprehensive dossier of documents supporting the concept, as well as oulining the story, and bound all this together in its own TOP SECRET sealed file.
The resulting dossier, "The Briefing Book", was a highly guarded document for many months. Now, exclusively to our online readers, we are able to make available to you a copy of this document. It runs to about 60 pages, but we have to warn you that it was censored by the writers before we received it, many pages having been removed so that the outcome of the story will remain a closely guarded secret. A time may yet come when Zabel and Friedman are able to give us, and the World, the rest of this amazing story through print or TV!!!
I hope you enjoy reading the document. I does take a while to load, but be patient.
