An update page for this site.

(updated on 2nd April 2006) # Hi! Welcome to my Dick Grayson page. I actually started this page a few years ago, but (yes, I admit it) other interests and a very busy life got in the way. However, I'm back on track and hope to get this page motoring in the next few months. This is the spot to come to find out what is going on and when I have updated various sections. # Site News: I have moved the site from its original home at angelfire to here -- no more annoying adverts at the top of the page. (G) # Fanfiction: I'm still working on "A Father's Day to Remember". I hope to spend some time on it over Easter. # Comic Appearances: One of the most frustrating things I have found about being a fan of Dick Grayson is that he has this tendency to turn up in everything from "Detective Comics" to "Wonder Woman" not to mention specials and the odd Crisis Issue. I keep missing him! So, I am in the process of cateloguing Dick's appearances. This is a very big job, but I'm enjoying it. I am using my own comic book collection along with on-line resources. At the moment, I'm just trying to get a skeleton up... which has meant relying on other's opinions and summaries. As my collection grows, I will replace the summaries with my own which will focus on Dick's contributions entirely. I'm working largely alphabetically and so far I'm into the B's. (g) BTW, if I have made a mistake with an appearance or have missed one, please, please, please, let me know. # Printable List: When I first returned to comics after a decade of being out of them, I found I was a long way behind. All I wanted was for someone to provide me with a list that included what comics Dick had appeared in so I could catch up, but I couldn't find one. So, I am in the process of creating one. It is written in Excel format so it is easy to print. The list includes Title, issue number, date and a rating regarding Dick's contribution (eg Appears in one Panel... one page... minor role... major role). As with the comic appearances catelogue, I'm into the B's. # Invitation: Want to join a group of other people who are all keen to keep up with Dick and his various appearances? I have started Yahoo Group called "Wing Alert". It isn't a discussion or fic list. It is an alert group. Members post alerts for others when they spot Dick somewhere. I'd love to see you there.
